Almost on a daily basis, you are bombarded by screaming adverts; Make a Million Naira on the Internet in 1 week and you are all fired up to also get your own piece of the internet cash cake. Hard lesson No 1: You must be prepared to get out of your comfort zone. Internet success is not for people who are not prepared for hard work. You see, it’s only in the dictionary that hard work comes before, in the world of internet business, hard work precedes enjoyment. You must not say these are the things I am familiar with so I will stay in them, you need to move into areas which you are not familiar with. Hard lesson No 2: Focus, focus, focus. Whether you like it or not, you must be focused to make money online. Hard lesson No 3: It’s a whole new world of education. If you are a graduate or very well educated, you will find making money online a whole new world of education. In fact, you will find most of the new terms (upload, autoresponder, optin, sales letter, email marketing, web design, affiliate marketing ) you will be confronted with intimidating. One good thing however is the fact that if you patiently go through this learning process and succeed, you will have a high chance of succeeding online. I won’t lie to you, there is a learning curve to making money online.
